A fax machine is a must have, just like several phones. You can opt for a stand alone fax machine or use software and modems, whichever works best for you. Choose between voice mail and an answering machine for your calls.

Equip your office with a variety of software and programs that will make managing your office easier. These are things like letter writing, graphic making, billing, accounting and creating financial projections.

If your business will entail making lots of presentations, you may want to invest in a video projector because at some point, you will still have to rent one if you do not have your own.
